Description:
Katyayani Bt Bio Larvicide is a liquid bioinsecticide containing Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt). It effectively controls a variety of insect larvae by disrupting their digestive systems, leading to their death.

1. Spore Ingestion: Larvae ingest Bt spores along with plant material.
2. Spore Activation: In the larval gut, spores dissolve, releasing protein crystals.
3. Protoxin Activation: Gut enzymes convert crystals to active Bt toxins.
4. Binding: Toxins bind to midgut cells, forming pores.
5. Cell Lysis: Pores cause cell membranes to burst, disrupting digestion.
6. Death: Starvation and death follow.

• Gardening: 5-10 ml per liter of water.
• Agriculture: 1-2 liters per acre.

• Apply 2-3 days before chemical pesticides for effective control of young larvae.
• Optimal application temperature is above 18°C; best results are achieved when spraying in the evening or at temperatures above 30°C.
• Reapply every 10-15 days for continuous control.
