Introduction:

Introduction	This is a post emergence herbicide used to control phalaris minor weed on wheat.
Time of Application	This herbicide is recommended for post emergence application i.e 30-35 days after sowing of wheat crop (when Phalaris minor is 3-4 leaf stage).
Direction of Use	PLANT PROTECTION EQUIPMENT : It can be applied through Kanpsack sprayer fitted with flat fan nozzel . Preparation of spray solution:- (a) Mixing out side the knapsack :- It is recommended to first mix this herbicide with clean water in a large container of sufficient size such that the complete number of knapsack load that are required for the spray are prepared at one time. Fill the container 1/3 or 1/2 full of clean water & add this herbicide . Gently stir until the product has dissolved then fill the knapsack sprayer directily with the mixed solution. It must be at the final cocentration . Do not make a concentrate stock solution (slury) which required further dilution in the knapnack sprayer later on. (b) Mixing directly in to the knapsack sprayer:- Fill the knapsack tank 1/3 or 1/2 full of clean water and put the water soluble bag of herbicide. Gently stir until the soluble bag and its contents fully dissolved and then add the rest of the water to the tank. Mode of Uptake: This herbicide is taken up through leaves of grass weeds. Active growth of susceptible grasses ceases within 48 hours after application. Symptoms are observed within one to three weeks depending on environmental condition and species involved. Decay of nodes and growing points is visible with young leaves showing chlorosis followed by necrosis. Re-cropping flexibility: This herbicide quickly degrade in the soil and has little or no soil activity. There are no recropping restrictions.
Precautions	1. Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animals food. 2. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin. 3. Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind. 4 . Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying. 5. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying. 6. Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
Signs And Symptoms Of Poisoning	Dyspnea, salivation, decreased activity and eye and skin irritation may occur.
First Aid Measures	1. If swallowed, induce vomiting by tickling the back of throat. Repeat it until the vomitus is clear. Do not induce vomiting if the patient is unconscious. 2. If clothing and skin are contaminated, remove the clothes and wash the contaminated skin with copious amount of soap and water. 3. If eyes are contaiminated, flush with plenty of saline/clean water for about 10 to 15 minutes. 4. If inhaled, remove the patient to fresh air.
Drug Therapy (Anti-Dote)	No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.
Storage	1 The package containing the herbicide shal be stored in seperate rooms or premises away from the rooms or presmises used for storing other articles particularly artciles of or shall be kept in separate almirah under lock and key depending upon the quantity and nature of the herbicide. 2 The rooms or premises meant for storing the herbicide shall be well built dry cool ,well lit and ventialted and of sufficient dimensions.
Disposal Of Containers	1 It shall be the duty of manufactures formulators of herbicide and operator to dispose packages or surplus materials and washings from the machine and container shall be disposed off in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental and water. pollution. 2 The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use. 3 Packages shall be broken and burried away from habitation.
