Composition:
Aureofungin Sol is a fungicidal formulation containing 6 grams of Technical Aureofungin and 7 grams of Solubilizing agent, viz. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate and Sodium Carbonate (Anhydrous Powder) mixed in 4:3 proportion.

Unique Features:
Aureofungin is a research product of H.A. Ltd. It is the only Antifungal Antibiotic in the market. The residue of Aureofungin is below detectable level after 10 days of spraying. It is cost competitive as compared to the chemical fungicides available in the market.

Uses:
Aureofungin Sol is used for seed treatment as well as for sprays. It is also used for root application. It is either used alone for fungal diseases, control or combined with Streptocycline when bacterial diseases control is needed.

Post harvest treatment of fruits and vegetables with Aureofungin sol prevents fungal rots and increases storage life of these perishable goods.

Preparation of Spray Mixture:
With constant stirring mix the entire contents (13 gram) of pouch in a small but sufficient quantity of clean water so as to form a slurry. Make up the final volume to 60 litres by adding water. Prepare the spray mixture in a cool place under preparation of solution. While with a high volume sprayer as much as 120 litres of Aureofungin Sol mixture is necessary per acre. With a low volume sprayer 40 to 60 litres will be sufficient depending upon the canopy of leaves.

Compatibility:
Aureofungin Sol is compatible with antibacterial antibiotics, inorganic fungicides like copper and with commonly used insecticides.

Toxicity:
It is non toxin to plants, animals and human beings. However, it is advisable to follow normal precaution recommended for handling of pesticides, such as avoiding prolonged exposure to skin, inhalation and inadvertent ingestion.
